So How About the Weather....

"Melbourne has never recorded more than eight days in a row above 30 degrees, but it's likely to have nine in autumn.

Victoria's capital city has already begun its hot spell with Monday and Tuesday both reaching the low 30's. The forecast is to reach the low thirties each day until Sunday before potentially hitting the mid 30's on Monday next week. The final day of the heat is likely to be Tuesday 12th March before a cool change is due overnight.

This extended spell of heating is longer than any spell in Melbourne's records, likely going past Melbourne's most recent eight day run in February 1961. The strangest part of this situation is that it is occurring in March, the first month of autumn. The longest March run above 30 degrees was seven days in 1985."

Oh Goody.

I am picking him up at the airport, thank you very much. We have many fun activities planned, such as visiting the RAAF Museum at Point Cook. :D

I tried picking up a guy at the airport once. He wasn't interested.

Its Tuesday, Sunday is miles away. I've just got to book accommodation and transport. I think thats all.

Oh man. Why do I get the feeling that Chlidonias and zooboy are a number, and when I get to the airport, the joke will be on me? :D

Transport from Melbourne airport? You don't need to book that beforehand. Either I or a dodgy cabbie will be there. The latter, however, will take you on a scenic route with the meter running. :D

NZ can fit into Melbourne, so accommodation will be easy to find. Hopefully you get something near to where you want to be and affordable.

Are you excited? Scared? Sad?

I'm a booker, I don't like having stuff unorganised. Have got a bus thing planned. And a hotel for the first couple of days.

The whole move is a bit stressful and difficult, but hopefully it will all work out OK. I am looking forward to most of it though.

Yeah it should be ok. It's an adventure, and at least you will have company in the form of Chlidonias or whatever his name is. ;)
