Happy Easter everyone!


Anyone got any exciting plans for the holiday period? Zooing, wildlife spotting or eating chocolate eggs and watching tv!.

I have bit of gardening to do throughout the long weekend, a quick scoot around the local safari park (Knowsley) tomorrow am at opening time before the hoards arrive. One day if there is a good weather forecast I am going to go Red Squirrel spotting too. A family BBQ on Easter Sunday and a few cold beers too

happy Easter. I didn't even realise it was Easter until this morning when I was enquiring at the local bus station about times and prices, and they told me it was a public holiday tomorrow. "What's that for?" I asked. "It's Good Friday...." she said. And I was like "Oooooh!"

And I shall be wildlife-spotting. Surprised much?

Well my plans are (shamefully) very low on zoo-going; I've got a stag do tomorrow, work on Saturday, a family meal on Sunday and nothing planned for Monday... But then it's Birmingham Sea Life on Tuesday to go and see the Gentoo penguins and check out the size of the hammerheads, followed by a cinema trip to see Rio 2! The joys of being a family man!

Rio 2? I didn't know there was a second movie. Cool! I watched the first one again just 3 weeks ago. We might get it in Oz in 2015....

Hmm no plans really. Relaxing, chores, errands, maybe a bush walk or two.

I haven't been to the cinema since then, so maybe the trailer is being shown in theatres. It definitely has not been advertised on TV, since the release date is in July here!!
