Sóstó Zoo has a new addition: they going to build an Ice Age House. Here you will see life-sized models of Mammoth, Saber-toothed cat and Wooly rhino. An other part of the complex is the following: the enclosures of Polar bears, Seals, Seagulls, Reindeer and the fishes of North Sea. A giraffe baby was born in Sóstó. Its mum wasn't want to care it, so currently the giraffe cared for by keepers. Its sex is unknown, but it has a name: Jubileum(Jubilee), because Jubilee is the zoo's 10th giraffe calf.

It is now official that the Ice Age house will be built, because government sent 3 billion HUF (around 90 million EUR) of support. Article on Nyíregyháza's page: Jégkorszak Nyíregyházán – Elkészül az európai szinten is egyedülálló állatkerti beruházás
