on the other hand, if, like myself, you have become a non supporter of the establishment through the constant soap opera goings on you watch with an interest and conclude that thankfully non of these goings on occur at the establishments you actively and proudly support.

@dublinlion are you sure you are not Yorik who shared almost like for like words? So, I take it dublinlion that you are a supporter of Dave Gill? If so, then would it not be better if you went onto his FB page to give support? ... Besides that, who is name calling? Just pointing out the obvious. We know that the initial commentator was coming across as a Dave Gill supporter, which by all makes it even more glaring that Gill then attacks the person. But I note that there are two comments within that conversation on Facebook, one of which was removed. So, it comes across as if Gill is attacking one of his friendly supporters. So I read your (dublinlion) comment prior to being edited. If you find everyone's comments and opinions about Gill and his park so boring and as you put it zzzzzz; then why do you come on here, read them and then give rhetoric? Gill is a full-on ego maniac with a real sense of narcissism. He blames others for his faults, he claims to be this and that, he did and he did that, his place is unique and the best, and so on. Then we have all the escapes, injuries, death, criminal behaviour, employment claims, under age mixings to the failing of HASAW Act and many parts of Animal Law being broken. So take your pick! As you have never been there or had any dealing with his park or Gill himself, then it comes across as trolling from yourself or with a intent to troll. I just like the many have reasons for the dislike of the man and his park. Gill continues to bring the zoo industry within the UK into disrepute and lowers the good and the sense of good real professional keepers do.

South Lakes Wild Animal Park No the local authority and HSE looked at it and we have continued because this is exactly why it is worth the effort , the HSE is not there to stop risk it is there to help people do risky things more safely ... that is their quote
 
do you two think you could give it a rest? I'm getting really sick of opening South Lakes threads to find only angry ranting. Discuss situations, don't throw toys around like little children.
 
Alas the "2nd book" of the many lives of the infamous Dave Gill will soon be out, going by his own accounts, the man is like a living God and has a life akin to Lazarus.

However after being paralyzed by a Sting from a Ray many hours from civilization,then being stranded 10km from anywhere in the desert and after that having the boat engine fail whilst watching wildlife off a seriously dangerous part of the Pacific Coast and being hit by a huge freak wave and thrown into the huge waves and rocks, miraculously surviving being dragged underwater time after time. One thing that does is to re iterate how important it is to use your life wisely and to help others as you never know when it will end. My mission to give as much as I can to others has never been stronger than it is today.
We only get wiser by making mistakes and learning from them and we only make mistakes because we make the effort to do something ...."

The picture taken in Africa and which is copyrighted to someone else and not South Lakes. I am not suggesting anything just that this picture was taken in Africa and not within South Lakes.

While I am not a fan and certain not entertaining visiting the place again, would it not be best to stop the wild accusations?

Maybe he himself took the photo or he was given permission by someone to use the photo?

It is a stock photo and not Dave Gill's. One thing to say you have animal in stock and will be out and about in due course. It is another thing altogether referring to a stock picture without giving credit, it is also false advertising under advertisment law, saying and showing that you have something, with a picture that differs to what is actually there.
 
In what way is he advertising something he doesn't have? It's just a photo to show what nyala are for those who may not know them already...
