Leofoo Village Theme Park Southern White Rhinos

Does anyone have knowledge of southern white rhinos living and deceased at Leofoo Village Theme Park?
I can only second your question as Leofoo has the largest rhino collection in Taiwan. Yet very little gets passed on via the local media about its breeding program to scale.

The only thing we know is that what is data laid down in the ISB 2011 for white rhinos about Leofoo in Hsi. Plus the few news items about Leofoo supplying the Tobu Zoo in Japan with a young captive-born female white rhino as well as Taipeh Zoo received a young male (Xi Wang) and possibly also slightly older female (Xi Chun). This pair bred in 2013 and produced a male calf (Xi Qi) at Taipeh Zoo. I believe the Taipeh Zoo may have lost their original imports from the early 1980's.

Leofoo's grand white rhino breeding program remains a best kept secret.

So nothing is known of "Old Man" the rhino?

What do you mean by Old Man? Old Man is from the old generation of the 2.6 white rhino group originally imported as founder stock. Old Man passed away in December 2002. The last of that group ....

What I am on about is the current group of probably ... wild guess 15-25+ rhinos. Would love to know the sex age ratio and the size of the breeding herd(s).

Regarding your rhino question, ten white rhinos departed the United States to Leofoo Village Park of Taipei, Taiwan, in June 1979 on the ocean freighter "Nancy Lykes." Also included were six elephants, 20 tigers, two large families of bears, a couple of camels and llamas and a bunch of gnus, oryx and ostriches in a $1.5 million shipment by the International Animal Exchange. It originally departed in May then docked for a week in San Pedro where a rhino died after giving birth to a stillborn calf.

I am looking for information on those six elephants if anyone can help.
