Calgary Zoo Special AZA/CAZA Review of the Calgary Zoo Released Along With the CZ's Action Plan

The Calgary Zoo has released the findings of a special AZA/CAZA report requested by Dr. Clement Lanthier, the president and CEO of the Calgary Zoo. On the Calgary Zoo's website you can also find their detailed Action Plan that responds to the issues raised in this report.

It appears that there will be many significant changes to the Zoo that will hopefully result in improved animal welfare and staff morale.

Thanks for sharing. It is shocking reading the report where most recommendations can be sourced back to lack of leadership and communication within the zoo.

I would hope the new man/woman on the DRCAC block will be a different man/woman alltogether.
