I am interested in seeing if we can compile a list of zoological parks that offer special photo tours or photo days. Here are the few I know of in the U.S. - how many more can you guys add?

Northwest Trek - photo trams in field exhibit one weekend a month
San Diego Wild Animal Park - photo trucks in field exhibits daily
Los Angeles Zoo - photo day once a year with special closeup ops
Reid Park Zoo - photo workshop twice a year with special closeup ops (led by yours truly - next one is Oct 3, 2009 if anyone is interested)
Phoenix Zoo - photo tour sponsored by Arizona Highways

Photo Workshops

We run Photo workshops on sunny evenings through the summer season and day workshops during the winter.

Summer workshops we consentrate on birds in flight (the shots that you wont get just by watching the flying displays)

and winter we do more static and feeding shots.

There is a company in the UK which runs photo workshops at several zoos and private collections. I was at Port Lympne on the same day as one of their workshops and I envied their access to the keeper's area at the bachelor gorillas' compounds - but I feel that the days are quite expensive for what they offer.
Details here Workshops | Wild Arena

They also offer other wildlife photo holidays, safaris etc.
