I found this video of the Philadelphia Zoo's Bird House from 2005 (Bird House starts at 53:18) and was hoping someone here could remember most if not all the species that they housed within it before they renovated it to the McNeil Avian Center. From my memory, I remember that they had Hamerkops, Victoria Crowned Pigeons, Micronesian Kingfishers, Guam Rails, and Black Necked Stilts. I can't remember the other species since I usually focused on the big birds when visiting zoos. The last time I visited the zoo was in 2005 and didn't keep a checklist of which species were on display. If anyone can remember what species were held in there that'd be great!
So after finding new footage online and photos of the bird house I have an incomplete list of which species were housed inside prior to the McNeil Avian Center renovation.
