BH's structure is very similar to SP. Both located in a considerable fragment of jungle.

Yes, that will be brilliant, I think it will probably (hopefully) be at some point later this year and I look forward to getting to know the zoo so lets definitely meet up when I go to Minas.
We are definitely making progress in Minas Gerais as a whole and will be soon in BH zoo too hopefully.

Could any staff member edit the message showing the list? Other than adding the animals we've discussed on this thread, I'd like to have the translation for the Jardim Burle Marx area added, as well as its letter-size changed to 5 (just like the Carnivore Conservation Area, whose letter-size is 4, but I'd like to have it changed to 5 too).
In the picture, I can see some ruddy shelducks (tadorna-ferrugem - (Tadorna ferruginea)), Mandarin ducks (marreco-mandarim - (Aix galericulata)), as well as a whistling duck (marreca - (Dendrocygnus spp.)). That's good that they have added more aquatic species to the vivarium. There's a quite nice pond in there, for what I know.
The whistling duck in the first plan of the picture looks pretty much like a west indian whistling duck (Dendrocygna arborea).
The woolly monkeys are now living with the spiders. The birds live together on an island exhibit located in the African Savanna section.
Are their wooly monkeys really Lagothrix lagotricha? Just a curiosity, because most zoos in the country that keeps thse monkeys actually have Lagothrix cana.
I believe the ones in Rio de Janeiro and Volta Redonda are from the Lagothrix lagotricha species. According to one of the files I've sent on the zoo's thread, the monkey kept at the institution is from the said taxa.
Oh yes. I only question it due to the majority of wooly monkeys being kept around the country being L. cana. It's great that Rio keeps another species though. How many individuals do they hold?
