Species on the brink of disappearing from U.K Collections

I'm sure there were Margay there when I went earlier last month, I may be wrong though. Go to around 5 parks a week, but seemed to recall they had them, near the Red Panda and Lemurs ?
By the red panda and lemurs they have short-clawed otter and fishing cat.

That's roughly speaking where the Fishing Cats are - I suspect you might be conflating the collection with Welsh Mountain Zoo in your head, as this is the second-closest collection to LDWP with Margay and is not dissimilar in general feel and exhibit design; the closest is, of course, Edinburgh Zoo, but I doubt you would get this collection confused with LDWP.

Chetah a small cat? Last time I looked they were in a different subfamily to all other cats.

They are deeply nested within the Felinae, and are the sister species to the Puma and Jaguarundi; these three taxa represent a sister lineage to the one containing Felis, Otocolobus and Prionailurus.

Paignton has just one Allen's Swamp Monkey now - female Swoozie, who was wildborn, spent time in a Dutch sanctuary and then Twycross before arriving at Paignton in January 2010.

When did the other one die/leave?

That's sad! The lone Allens will probably now end up in the IOW monkey haven? I believe there are some US zoos that hold them - hope she can be of use to the breeding programme!
Do you know why the Goeldi monkeys have been moved out of their exhibit? Also, where the Squirrel monkeys have gone?

From her age it perhaps seems unlikely she would still be able to breed, but given their rarity in Zoos, sending her to the USA to join another group might still be a better option than a solitary life either at Paignton or in a sanctuary.

At one point it was rumoured that they were both going to the USA but nothing came of it. She still comes into season but it's been a long time since she's seen a male. I might be misremembering, but I don't think she particularly liked the last one and wouldn't let him mate. If she does stay, she's got a nice little home with plenty going on around her.

The Red-tailed Guenon at IOW has died(euthanased). I believe this animal, the only one in the UK, was sent there about 10 years ago from Twycross, though it was originally a pet in Israel. Their obituary describes him as 'grossly overweight' on arrival, but doesn't mention Twycross Zoo as his former home..

Is there a current thread for the Monkey Haven? I can't find one.

Hoffman's Two Toed Sloths,in ZTL it says there are 1.1 Hadar and Roxy. Hadar arrived in 2017 from Skanssen Zoo so does the Hoffman Two Toed Sloth have a chance to survive in UK?

The European population in general is incredibly low, so without import from the much larger US population, then most likely not.
