Speculative Zoo Species List Help

They can, actually. Quite a lot of zoos in Brazil do these mixes, and without any problems.
Interesting to hear that, as I heard from failed mixes in Europe with dead birds and if remember right macaws and toucans are hostile to each other and toucans catch conures in nature.

Toucans will indeed prey on smaller birds and macaw's birds/eggs, but I've not seen a case of it happening in captivity. Maybe the temperament of the animals and the size of enclousure matter in that case, but I've seen it working even on smaller exhibits, so...

The exhibit is 3 months long (seasonal). There will be 3 different themes for each enclosure (so 3 different mixes) - winter (general winter holidays, Holarctic), spring (theme is biodiversity, mainly behind the scenes conservation), summer (theme is pride so LGBTQ+ animals + rainbow animals);
  • 11 Aquarium/Paludarium/Terrarium space - 432 litres, 504 litres, 675 litres, 735 litres, 896 litres, 900 litres, 2592 litres, 2700 litres x2, 63000 litres, 85750 litres
  • 3 Indoor Enclosures - 70 sq. m, 78 sq. m, 90 sq. m
  • 780 sq. m large greenhouse (so free-roamers) with 3 enclosures - 70 sq. m open-topped enclosure, 6000 litre open-topped aquarium, and 180 sq. m large aviary.
So the different exhibits focus/themes are;
  • Holarctic animals for a winter holiday exhibit
  • Conservation priority animals
  • Rainbow & pride animals

I’ll take a shot at the second “theme” as it seems to be the easiest and most realistically possible of the three (unclear what the third theme means. Same-sex animal couples? Species with colorful/rainbow patterning?).

Conservation Nation: Animals that have shown conservation success in captivity that have been saved from extinction by zoological facilities or are otherwise of conservation concern.

It means both. It's the summer seasonal exhibit

Thanks for that ideas, but several of them are impossible to get, because of import restrictions or availability.
I‘d redesign the Java aviary, now focussed on Javan Banded Pittas alongside with Purple Whistling Thrush, Pin-tailed Parrotfinches, Red Avadavats, White-headed Munias and Thick-billed Green Pigeons.

I am looking for invertebrates and tiny herptiles that occur in the Southern African savanna or semi-desert, and they should be suitable for captivity. Does anyone have suggestions?

Some inverts:
Derby’s flower beetle (Dicronorhina derbyana)
Reverse garden chafer (Pachnoda sinuata flaviventris)
Namibian assassin bug (Anthia biguttata)
Ghost Porcelain Roach (Gyna caffrorum)
Splendid red millipede (Centrobolus splendidus)
Golden blue-legged baboon spider (Harpactira pulchripes)
Kalahari burrower (Opistophthalmus wahlbergii)
Mozambique Thicktail Scorpion (Parabuthus mossambicensis)

You quote the same species twice but they're available on multiple European invert pet stores
Oh, I quoted the wrong one, another species I initially wanted to quote should be the Namibian assassin bug

Again, any suggestions of small Herptiles (no heavier than African Bullfrog) from the Southern African savannah or semi-desert that are available in captivity

African house snakes (genus Boaedon) are found in some zoos worldwide and are seen somewhat commonly on the pet trade. According to ZTL, the most common of these is the Brown house snake (B. fuliginosus) from West Africa, but it seems like that both it and the less comonly kept Cape house snake (B.capensis) are present on the pet trade.

Do you have any ideas for the following aviaries:
- Wimmera with Pink Cockatoo, Little Corella, Galah, Gang-gang and Red-tailed Black Cockatoo (biggest with about 1000m²)
- MacDonell with Mallee Ringneck, Northern Rosella and Alexandra‘s Parrot
- Pilbara with Mulga Parrot, Port Lincoln‘s Ringneck and Elegant Parrot
- Channel Country with Yellow-vented Bluebonnet, Pale-headed Rosella and Bourke‘s Parrot
- Murray with Regent Parrot and Red-rumped Parrot

And ideas for other Outback aviaries?

What are the best animals for a Winter exhibit (focusing on Holarctic Realm) and a pride (summer temporary exhibit) exhibit?
I have these main sections;
  • Gallery 1
  • Greenhouse with Free-roaming Animals, Open-topped Aquarium & Enclosure, Aviary
  • Gallery 2

Do you have ideas for themes for aviaries included in a boat-drive-through?
I already have a combined Hawaii and Lesser Antillean themed aviary.
