Spitting Cobras in US Zoos

It seems whenever I channel surf past Animal Planet, they have some show on featuring Cobras. It got me thinking, I've seen Egyptian and King Cobras, but I can never recall seeing any type of spitting Cobra in a zoo. Do any zoos have one as part of their collection?

Quite a few have red spitters (Bronx, Riverbanks, Staten Island, Central Florida zoo, etc) I believe one of the Texas zoos has a black spitter. Did anyone visit Philly zoo when they had their cobra exhibit? It had to be one of the most complete collections of cobra at the time (I remember close to a dozen or more species). They have since removed most of the species (except the king and black forest cobra).

A pity on Philly's exhibit. I was really excited about seeing it until you said they removed most. So I guess it's mostly red spitters in captivity then.

Its pretty much red spitters. I went to reptile show in Orlando and there was a small collection of venomous that had a sumatran spitter and another species (?) that wasn't a red. Spitters are more common in private collections than in zoos (which is kind of a scary thought).

Philly really disappointed me when they removed most of the cobras. They had species like suphan, ringkhals, spectacled, red spitters, egyptian banded, an albino monacle cobra and more. The centerpiece of the exhibit was their king cobras (It's still there) which at the time still had Starfire, which set a longevity record at 26 years. It was also the biggest king cobra I have ever seen.

For some reason, I remember the red spitting cobra on display at Jax Zoo cant remember which display though. They still have at least one off display.

Just found out that at Dallas we have a spitting cobra (off exhibit). A quick check of ISIS say that we actually have 4: 1 Western barred spitting cobra and 3 Red spitting cobras.
