Sriracha Tiger Zoo Sriracha Tiger Zoo

I was just wondering, the website states that the tigers from this place are sent all over the world to be involved in breeding programs. The zoo in it's prime has over 400 tigers, and they ALWAYS have tiger cubs on display for public interaction. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about where these tiger cubs end up, Surely not all of them can be used in the zoos circus and when they get too big for interaction, then what happens, I have a video "taming the tigers" that also features dremworld and you can count atleast 20 different tiger cubs at one time.

Any thoughts or ideas as to what they could do with them all.???

I recently read an article claiming that 100 cubs from here had been sold to china. . .

Your last passage actually answers Your question regarding their final distribution: TCM-traditional chinese medicine...

They have grecently been investigated for this, though. It can't be legal and there would have to be dozens of cubs each year.

Nice review of what sounds like yet another horrible Asian zoo. The photos of orangutans with t-shirts posing with tourists, a tiger being pulled by the tail, etc, are sad and clearly show the education level of the zoo's owners. I was intrigued by the massive number of crocodile eggs lined up against the wall, and the final photo advertising "croc BBQ sticks" was also rather interesting.

Thanks Peter for the link to your very informative article. I always knew this place was dubious, but you have provided all the proof anyone would need. Some of you may have seen this: a couple years ago someone posted a photo from here of tiger cubs nursing on a pig on the internet. However, they made up a caption to go with it claiming it was a zoo in California (which one of course, they didn't say) where the mother tigress rejected her cubs and they found a pig to nurse them. I'm sure many people bought it - one of the docents at my zoo actually posted it on our bulletin board at the zoo. The other docents believed it until I saw it and put up a note explaining the true source of the photo.
