Hi

Uk based - visit zoos a lot with family in the uk

Favourite - and most regularly visited. Chester zoo

Collection of own animals including meerkat, prairie dogs, parrots, Arapawa goats, guanaco, African porcupine, zebu, alpacas, and others :)

Always watching for anything interesting :)

Yes i work in IT, but my interests are animals and birds.
I'm lucky enough to be able to keep a few animals.

The website - and many more (I work in IT) websites is a way to express my hobby.

I probably aspire to opening to visitors - but not likely in reality - it's hard to make a living at it :( take blackbrook zoo - charging 99p entry - doesn't even pay the feed bills - never mind some money to live on.

So probably not the other side of things - well not commercially any way.

Considering the winter they had last year, I imagine their cut-price entry this winter is a means of trying to get as much trade as possible before any poor weather closes them again; if so it makes sense.

And from my point of view - that of someone who doesn't keep animals - those who do have a useful perspective to give, whether they do so commercially or not.

Hopefully you will find this place interesting :)
