Star wars episode VII

For the fanboys, the hype started a long time ago when the idea for doing another film was announced.
 
I saw a trailer for it a month or two ago and it appeared to be some kind of animated version and not a standard movie like the others. Is this true? (Huge mistake if it is and I would have zero interest in seeing it).

Even the last three (especially the first two of those three) had too much computer generated stuff. The original three films were far superior visually.
 
And just to rub it in for all you youngsters, I saw Return of the Jedi on opening day on Hollywood Boulevard. :p
 
And should we vote for our favorite Star Wars film while we are on the subject? Mine is Empire Strikes Back (although Return of the Jedi is a near tie).

You can't have seen a Trailer to SW 7-there is none yet...Maybe you have mistaken it by a Trailer to the new animated Tv series Sw Rebels.

... what a crap title for a film in this series.

you can imagine what cones next....

Episode VII: The Force Hits Snooze.

then to cap it off..

Episode IX: The Force finally drags its lazy arse out of bed...


I'm not saying off the top of my head I could do better, but The Force Awakens, it seems a bit naff.

better than Wakening The Force though. It would get shortened to Star Wars WTF.
 
Hopefully the title will be:

Starwars VII-The Return of JarJar Binks.

I want to know what excactly happend to this funny lovly little guy, who is responsible for the raise of the empire, so I l really like him.

I like the title, but would just like to add this to it.

Star Wars VII - The Return of JarJar Binks, for only 3 seconds before he is eaten alive by a Rancor.


as the Simpsons comic book man would say, 'worst character in the history of Star Wars'.

Although the trailer for Ep1 was great too, and it all went downhill from there.....
 
When I was a young kid I thought that the first trilogy of the Star Wars franchise was the best thing since smooth peanut butter on sliced bread. My siblings and I had all the toys, the gadgets, the spaceships and we memorized the films through endless viewings. I was in my mid-twenties when the second trilogy hit theaters (technically now the first 3 films in the series) and the CGI effects and awful acting tarnished the entire Star Wars legacy. Now movie buffs are bracing themselves for yet another trilogy and while the trailer released today looks to be exciting I'm now at the point where I'm in my late thirties and I think that I'd rather watch paint dry than endure another disappointing set of films. There are many sequels, prequels and reboots that should never have been attempted in the realm of moviemaking. Just sayin'.
 
Yaeh, but this time, the trailer look like STARWARS, the trailer of Epsi.1 does not..I bet, Abrams will give us a good , new Starwars Movie.And if not-who cares ? We survived the trash Prequels, and as long as we have the orginal movies, I don't care about the quality of upcoming starwars movies. If they are great,its fine, if not, no problem...
 
I just saw the new Star Wars trailer. Wow. It looks amazing! It actually looks like the original movies!

Just seen, it really has the feel of the original 3. Looks amazing and a mention of Darth vader in the Present tense hmmmmm:rolleyes:
