I've got a friend that works in the Herpetological Society if you'd like me to ask him any questions. :D The facilities there seem pretty nice.

I currently voulenteer in the main floor lab if anyone has questions.
The Chinese water dragon passed recently and we now have a different green iguana as well as a handful of herps in the room behind the display.
There's a second lab I have yet to have the opportunity to visit but I know it's where the big alligator snapper lives.

Where is the second lab, and is it accessible for public viewing?

The secondary lab is upstairs and not open to public. only the vivarium on the main floor is, outside of the occasional special event. But off display animals from both labs are brought to education events regularly.

However at least one of the currently un displayed pythons will be getting a display enclosure in the mini museum when its re built in the science building, as it's moving out of the library.

However the ball python in the back of the main floor lab will be getting a display enclosure in the mini museum when its built in the science building, as it's moving out of the library.
Do you have any idea what the status of the natural history museum will be with the library closing?

It's moving to one of the other campus buildings on the other side of the natural resource building. One of my roommates (interior design major) helped design parts of the new set up. There's going to be some kind of dino skeleton as a centerpiece and a tank for one of the pythons (at least from the one layout she shared with me)

The library rebuild and relocation of the museum to another campus building are happening roughly in tandem.
