Two days ago a Sumatran orangutan was born in the Ichikawa city zoo. The zoo got their orangutan from a sister city Medan, Indonesia. This baby is the third offspring of the couple.

Nope I did not visit the Ichikawa city zoo. I just added this as a news for japan in general since I doubt the Ichikawa zoo is recognized as much as most other zoos in Japan.
