Thank you, kiang. Is TIBOR still at Edinburgh zoo? Last year I heard that he should move to an other zoo.

No, Tibor has moved to Barcelona to join female, Pertama (who has been alone for sometime now)
 
Gasha (B2011 at Praha, Surami X Falco) and Asim (B2011 at Frankfurt, Malea X Iban) have had their first litter at Ree Park - 2.1 cubs were born 16 May.

One of the male cubs differs slightly from his siblings in the fact that he has a naturally occurring white tail and white feet and is generally much lighter in color. Inbreeding has been ruled out as an explanation and its believed to be a genetic variation

Aw he looks like his tail has been dipped in paint!

Isn't Asim the littermate of one male who is paired with one of Chester's females from the litter before last? (Nila in france I think?) - am I horribly wrong?

Asim was originally paired at Heidelberg at Tila (B2011Chester) but unfortunately they didn't take to each other (he was aggressive towards her) so instead he left for Ebeltoft in January. Heidelberg have since received a different male to pair with Tila

aye I remember that - but his brother from the same litter (can't remember his name) is paired with Nila in France isn't he?

If it's genetic and comes down the male line we might see the same result in Nila's cubs if she pairs with Asims brother successfully.

That's Taru - He and Nila have already got cubs (two boys born earlier this year) no white tail/feet on either of them though :p
 
It was announced that the Zoo Frankfurt/Germany planned to get a new tiger. It would be BELUDRU (*2000 Zoo Berlin) from the Zoo Krefeld/Germany. They are waiting for the permission from Zoo London.
 
Manor House (Tenby) - today received female, Terima from Beauval. They become the 16th UK holder for Sumatran Tigers
 
South Lakes received siblings, Cinta and Kumbuh (b09/2014) from Zoo Doue, France. They now have 2.3 Tigers
 
Wildlfe Heritage Foundation UK announced on its facebook page -

WHF has some sad news. Sadly Raika, our eldest cat passed away on Wednesday. Raika was 20 years old, a fantastic age for a tiger who remained in excellent health until almost the very end. In recent months her condition deteriorated so in consultation with both of WHF's vets it was decided it was in her best interest to put her to sleep.
Raika moved to WHF with Lumpur as a retiring breeding pair of Sumatran tigers in September 2012
 
Last year in december Zoo Beauval reported 2 cubs. Parents are: ASU and JAMBI

In january NAKEL and BUDI from Zoo London moved to the West Midland Safari Park and the Welsh Mountain Zoo.

At the begin of march KUASA from Flamingo Land was transfered to Zoo La Boissière du Doré.

PADANG vom South Lakes was put to sleep in february or march.

Did I forgot other news?
 
Cinta (BLondon2014) went to Praha in early March

The new cubs at Beauval are two males born on 13th December. Now named Masat and Tangse

Bioparc Roma received female, Tila (BChester2011) from Heidelberg earlier this year - unfortunately the match between her and the male that came from Wroclaw last year was not successful. Heidelberg are awaiting a replacement female
 
Arnhem also received female, Surami from Zoo Praha on 30th March. She comes with a none breeding recommendation and has been implanted

No mention of the two female cubs born at Arnhem in 2014 - are they still there or have they already moved on?
 
Thank you Nisha! I know I forgot some transfers. :D

About Arnhem - In mid-march there was a article about JARUM which tells that there are 4 tigers in Arnhem at the moment. Now with SURAMI from Praha there must be 5 tigers.
 
Parc Zoo Reynou, France have joined the EEP for Sumatran Tiger. Yesterday they received female, Sigra (bHeidelberg2000) from Dublin and male, Topan from Chester

Paignton also had a litter of 0.0.3 born on 31st May (Fabi X Shakira)
 
London - new litter of 0.0.2 for Jae-Jae and Melati

Jihlava have transfered female, Suma to La Boissiere in France. Hopefully to be replaced at Jihlava by a new male for her daughter, Cinta

Attica in Greece also received there first Sumatran Tiger a week ago. Male, Sylvester came from Amneville in France (B2008 at Jerusalem, Chana X Avigdor)

Male, Jaya was moved from Chester to Manor House WP this week

Sisters, Mentari and Bulan also made the move from Flamingo Land to Zoo Napoli during June. Zoo Napoli are another new EEP holder and become the 2nd in Italy
