Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Sun Bears in Cincinnati

Howdy.

My coworker and I were discussing Cincinnati Zoo, as they used to live down there, and they remember Cincinnati having Sun Bears at one point. I've been to Cincinnati a handful of times since 2004 and dont remember seeing them. I know Cleveland, Akron and Columbus all had them in the past, but not Cincinnati. Which of us are correct?

Not in recent times or not over the last three or so decades as far as I personally know. It wouldn't surprise me if they did at some point since the zoo displayed bears for over 100 consecutive years.

They had Sun Bears in the 90s the whole bear line was interesting back then cause of the small primates that were exhibited at the end of the line.
