Hi!

Here is another visit report and species list from a not well-known Malaysian facility.

Name: Sungkai Wildlife Conservation Centre
Place: Google Maps
Operation Hours: 2-5PM (Closed on Public Holidays)
Visit Date: October 20, 2025

This is a government-operated conservation centre for local wild animals.
The center consists of a small museum and animal enclosures, which are partly open to the public.

The museum has a variety of local species in specimens and a great collection of documents on local wildlife.
The place is small, but a Zoochatter might be able to spend the whole day here reading literature.

However, it is only 15 minutes from the nearest highway exit, so it will not be very difficult to stop by if you are traveling on the highway.

Did you know any info about malayan tigers in the centre?
Hi
Sorry I don't know about the details of the tigers there. I was only able to talk with the staff at the reception, who probably doesn't have a lot of information about the animals here. He only told me there are tigers in the backyard.
