Yes, the nocturnal house was good, but it was so busy the day we were there it was really difficult to enjoy it or spend any meaningful time there.

I must have just got there at the right time, it wasn't too busy. The aquarium was more crowded, especially the entrance because a keeper was cleaning the first tank and everyone was bunching up to watch.

Did you hear the social distancing reminder over the loud speaker around lunch time?

On my visit I saw 97 species. (The website claims they have 1,000, which I assume is a typo?)

I agree, there isn't 1,000 species there, so either they meant 100 species or 1,000 specimens.
