Symbio Wildlife Park Symbio Developments & New Species

Thanks for replying to my post Matt. It's good to know that you are on here. Hopefully I just overheard a keeper having a bad day. On previous visits I have found your staff to be very professional and easy to approach.
As I've mentioned on an earlier post you should be very proud of your reptile house. The way it flows works.
Good luck with your future plans

Article on the construction of the cheetah exhibit, set to house two animals from New Zealand: Purrfect cheetah enclosure underway as Symbio prepares for more big cats - ABC Illawarra NSW - Australian Broadcasting Corporation

The article also mentions plans for a ringtail lemur exhibit, an Australian farm experience and an Indigenous walking trail.

From Facebook:

Lemurs have now moved into Lemur Island at Symbio, and they're loving it!

There is also a video, although it doesn't really show the new exhibit at all (just the lemurs themselves).

The cheetah enclosure is finished, just waiting for the cheetahs at this point... from what I hear anyways...

Just found out from Facebook that they received two male ring-tailed lemurs in April from Halls Gap Zoo.

Yep - now have 4 lemurs... all male... they are all still a bit shy, but one of the keepers did some conditioning with them out in the exhibit so I could get some photos of them.
