Taipei Zoo Taipei zoo news

I will be visiting Taipei Zoo soon.

Does anyone know the best time to see the following animals?

Chinese pangolin

Aye-aye

Taiwan ferret badger

Fat-tailed dwarf lemur
The simple answer for all is at the feeding times.

It is normally easy to see one of the pangolins in a nest box, and there are multiple feedings a day between the individuals.

The Aye-aye and Fat-tailed Dwarf Lemur should generally be easy to see in their nocturnal enclosures throughout the day. The Dwarf Lemur might be hiding in a nest box but was still easy to see in my experience.

The Taiwan ferret badger is the trickiest of the group to see. The feeding time seems to vary from day to day. I finally saw it on my second visit when they fed it shortly before closing time, although sometimes it is visible sleeping in one of its nests.
