Tallahassee Museum has a nice collection of wild animals native to Florida, as well as a few domestic animals on a replica farm. Here is a list of the animals I observed while visiting the museum. A review will follow on another thread.

Mammals (99% sure…although unsigned, I believe the Whitetail Deer on exhibit was a Florida Key Deer):

Was there nothing in the temporary exhibit space? Or was that the squirrels…

The signage indicated that a Caracal was still present, but there were barricades blocking access to the “guest animal” enclosure. It was near then end of the Caracal’s tenure so perhaps they were prepping the enclosure for a new guest.
