Taman Safari Gurun Putih Lestari, not associated with Taman Safari Indonesia, in Aceh keep four Sumatran serow. Their origin is unknown, but I would guess they were wild caught. They lived in a suprisingly nice exhibit. The zoo probably still keep them, but it's hard to know for sure.

Aside from the serow, other animals they keep are ostrich, rheas, emus, horses, sambar, and chitals in their safari ride. As well as peafowls, hornbills, cockatoos, cassowary, kites, orangutans, and others.

This "safari park" has some good breeding results with their Sumatran Serau. Some of Serau that born there will be send to Batu Secret Zoo. Unfortunately Serau in Batu won't be exhibited. They will live in breeding center.

Aw man. Exhibiting them would be nice though, since Serows are rare in captivity.

Several rarities of the very obscure Taman Safari Gurun Putih Lestari in Jantho, Aceh Darussalam on the island of Sumatra. Despite their name, they're not affiliated with Taman Safari Indonesia.

Only opened in 2019, not much is known about them through internet. No website, nor even any social media account. But, they house some rarities, most notably as the only public holder of Sumatran serow in Indonesia.

An siamang and what appears to be an lar gibbon, an species only exclusive to Sumatran zoos.

What could be an Sumatran porcupine, currently exclusive to Sumatran zoos as they're as common as the Sunda porcupines in Java and Bali.
