Two female Sumatran tigers (Panthera tigris sondaica) has born on May 4, 2021, their parents are Praja (Male) and Dini (Female). The regent of Pasuruan, Irsyad Yusuf, gave one of the tiger the name Isyana, which was based on a dynasty (Isyana dynasty - Wikipedia) that used to rule East Java in the 11th century. While a second tiger is named Aura, the chosen name of the many names given by peoples through email.

I always thought the name Isyana came from Isyana Saraswati
 
Two red kangaroos, named Chelsea and Hallery as well as an unnamed joey, arrived at Taman Safari Prigen from Houston, Texas. They were quarantined for a month before being displayed in Australiana.

If I remember correctly, Rumah Pintar doesn't have the mammal fetuses anymore. But in my opinion, the mini museum in Rumah Pintar is a morbidly unique and interesting exhibit, although it need it's own area instead of being put in a library.

I believe they also got into a controversy after exhibiting an orangutan fetus.

The question is: where they got the dead baby orangutan from?
 
two lion cubs has been born on March, named Gibran and Vendo.

Taman Safari Prigen has acquired a pair of striped hyenas, named Malik and Arifah, occupying one of the exhibits in the cat complex. Another addition include a group of sitatungas, now in the African section of the Safari ride.

Maybe. If these hyenas came from Bali Safari, they are probably imported from one of the Gulf states. The neighbouring Bali Zoo's hyenas came from Bahrain around the same time the Bali Safari's hyena arrived.
 
Taman Safari Prigen has built a new petting zoo called "Pets and Wild Interaction". Judging by the name, I'm guessing that this exhibit is somewhat inspired by those "Children's Zoo" attraction seen in US zoos.

In this exhibit, it's possible for visitors to see and interact with tortoises, rabbits, merino sheeps, Shetland ponies, and also Javan rusa deers, to name a few.

Apparently, there's even a southern cassowary in there, definitely not the kind of bird you want to get close to, let alone pet. Not a fan of this addition and I honestly have no idea what's in their mind to add a cassowary into a petting zoo, though there's possibility that it could be temporary.
