I was just wondering if their was any outstanding tapir (any species) exhibit anywhere in the US. From what I've seen, these guys never get a great exhibit, and I just wondered if this was true everywhere.

bronx zoos jungleworld has a nice habitat as well as this habitat in zoo center which is all shaded, lush with vegettaion and has a nice pool

The Malayan tapir exhibit at Disney's Animal Kingdom comes to mind as one of the best, although it is not spectacular.

How about this Baird's tapir exhibit at the Nashville Zoo?

Other top-class tapir exhibits include the Malayan tapir enclosure at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and the Malayan tapir exhibit at Sedgwick County Zoo is also fairly impressive. Mountain View Conservation Centre in Canada (now no longer exhibiting exotics) used to have a pair of mountain tapirs in a 10-acre enclosure that was basically fenced countryside.
