On my weekly visit today 08/12/09 I found out that the mystery involving the Tapir as now ended.
She gave birth to a young male 2 weeks ago named Ronnie
Also they now have a breeding pair of Red Panda's and have very high hopes of them breeding in the very near future.
They hope to have 2 breeding groups of Orangutans in the new house.
The Snow Leppards male & female and Asianic Lions male & females are stil seperated in thier enclosures.
Sarah the tiger not out in enclosure today but could be heard in the back enclosure.
Also saw the Geoffry's Cat for the first time in ages.
As anyone actually seen the porcupines out in the enclosure.

:D Awww brill news about Ronnie <3

Sarah has been tucked away inside the past few times iv been bless her, i think it may be getting abit cold for her in her old age. She is still my fave animal there though and i miss seeing her roaming around her enclosure.

Oh and the porcupines, iv only ever seen the peacocks in their outside enclosure lol :p

Didn't think Sarah was that old. She was 14 last month (born 25/11/95) What's the average life expectency for a captive Sumatran Tiger?
