Tarabulus Zoo in Libya

Has anyone heard news about the Tarabulus Zoo Park in Tripolis or if it has been affected by the recent fighting ?

The zoo is supposedly rather small but keeps elephants among other large animals.

Looks like quite a varied collection, seemingly including white lions. It's a real shame that the animals are suffering so much.

Thank you for the link devilfish ! It seems other news media are picking up the story of the Tripoli Zoo, I just watched a report on NBC. The zoo looks fairly modern, especially by African standards. I hope the situation will improve soon !
