Excited about another zoo adding giant otters and about Jacksonville getting a new bonobo exhibit.

Fort Worth is gonna have four black rhino enclosures? That’s dedication if I’ve ever seen it. On the other hand, I can tell from that sketch that the hippo exhibit, as all new ones being built these days, is not of an ideal size or structure.

I had no idea the Fort Worth African Savanna is opening this year!

Also glad to see Oklahoma City Zoo is getting raccoon dogs. Will these be the only ones in the United States?

Omaha had raccoon dogs some time ago, but when small mammal building closed, I am not sure where they went. They were a gift to the city of Omaha from a sister city in Asia.

Zoo Atlanta currently has Raccoon Dogs.
