The Asian Zoo List of Chlidonias

the zoo and the night safari can be done on the same day. The river safari takes at most a couple of hours so the day on which you visit that can also be used for other activities. Jurong will take a full day (or two, if you are like me and a lot of other people!).

Those four collections are the must-visits. The aquariums can be skipped if you are pressed for time, and especially if fish aren't high on your priority lists. (The SEA Aquarium is very good of course, but not an essential stop).

You could do the zoo, river safari and night safari all on the same day (I know some Zoochatters have) but you'd be well-nigh dead by the end of the day.

I did the Singapore Zoo, River Safari, and Night Safari on the same day in 2017. Arrived at the Zoo at about 10:30, did all of the Zoo's animal shows, and finished at about 6pm. Then ate dinner and entered Night Safari at 8pm, finishing the walking trails just before midnight. Yes, I was really, really wiped out when I got to my hostel that evening! But unlike Chili, I was thoroughly impressed with everything! I didn't think the Night Safari enclosures were too small at all, and I loved River Safari's boat ride. Like SnowLeopard, I was considering how much fun that boat ride is for kids! The only animals I had difficulty seeing from the boat were the jaguars. I did not see any beavers and wondered if they still have them.
