Here I have made a poll about the best zoos in Germany. You can only choose 10 possibilites on the poll, so some important zoos like Nuremberg, Dortmund, Wuppertal, and Wilhelma are not included in the poll. Please vote on the poll, and discuss below.

Voted Walsrode because it's a wunderfull park with an unique collection and a most beautifull landscaping and lay-out ! ( and because I know it very well after 3 years working in it :) ).
From the other possibilities I realy liked Hamburg with it's relative new Tropen-aquarium and Duisburg is also high on my list even without the Belugas and 'Panda' dolphins ( their real name is not coming up to me in the moment ) !
Hannover is already 20 years ago that I visited it and I was not impressed by it.

Then we have a problem vogelcommando as I voted Walsrode as well but I only see one vote for this amazing park.

I see it in italic, so in my screen it appears as my vote. But if you see the same then we might need to talk with Norwegian moose if he got any bribe from one of the zoos to win :p

I saw only one vote for Walsrode too. So I voted for it (my first ever vote on a Zoochat poll!) and now it says two, which means that somehow Vogelcommando's vote didn't register.

Vogelcommando didn't you by accident click on "other". And thanks Chlidonias for voting for a zoo you never visited :p.

Walsrode is the zoo I most want to visit in Germany, so my vote counts. Maybe Germany is part of my travel plans.......

Germany isn't in Asia :p. But if you do let please note that Walsrode closes the 1st of November for winter. And if you drop by in Western Europe let me know :).

ahg, I forgot about the winter closing. The same reason zooboy28 missed it!

Get chicken pox by then and they might let in you as they don't have any spotted kiwis yet.

The name you are looking for is "Commerson dolphins". (By the way: They are also known as "Jacobitas")

I've only been in three of those, and Walsrode was my favorite, though Berlin Zoo is a close second. I did like Hannover Zoo too, probably much more than most people here in Zoochat do, but I do consider it to be half a tier below the two others.
