Good news for this cat.A black footed cat kitten was born on April 8th, her name is AryaIt looks like she an injury noticed by zoo staff which seems to be improving from. More info on press release from their website in the link provided.

Did you see any work on the new bird of prey/prairie dog exhibit. If I’m correct it would have been near the desert pup fish in the Sonoran garden.I was at The Living Desert today and found out that Nike, one of the bobcat brothers, passed away. I wasn't told when.
In other news, the last two Cuvier’s gazelles have been shipped out. These were the last two individuals of this species on display in the country.
