the Masterplan of the Las Vegas Zoological Park: A "New" Project

Due to my highly perfectionist trait, I will likely not post the new buildings until September (I can't be on Zoochat from this Saturday to early August). I just restarted the entire zoo brainstorming process. However, I have revised the exhibits so you can suggest/speculate on rarer (but somewhat realistic) mammals that I could have.

All Major Zones and Sectors:
  • North Entrance (now focuses on the Horn of Africa)
  • Inside Africa - the Lion House; Africa Rocks (completely outside); the Hippo House
  • the Silk Routes - the Mediterranean (completely outside); Crossroads; Sloth Bear Forest; the Far East; the Maritime Building
  • the Desert Dome (focuses on Southwest US and surrounding locations)
  • the Zoo Center - Creatures of the Night (theme is cave-dwelling animals); Venom vs. Poison; the Penguinarium; Intelligence; Conservation Corner (endangered Nevada species)
  • the New World - the Pampas and the Patagonia; the Gran Chaco; the Caatinga and the Cerrado; Middle America (Central American dry forests, mangroves, and the Yucatan peninsula)
  • the Land Down Under (Outback focus)
  • Islands Alive - Oceania; the Malay Archipelago; Madagascar; the Neotropics
  • South Entrance (focuses on Australasia with Komodo house)
