Well, maybe it's an ambiguous rule and anyway none rule should be too strict in what is just a game I avoided the dragonflies/damselflies in tandem even if they can pass several hours or even days after the real mating, as the male will not release the female until he laid the eggs! However I was about to include a couple of bush crickets where the female have the spermatophore of the male, very big and well visible in the abdomen. I think the issue is that the crickets are phisically separated while the damselflies and the onagers not.

I like how well camouflaged is the female green pigeon amongst the foliage
