The Nonsense Thread

bag-snatching, Australian style: Bag snatcher's glass prang entertains global audience :D

And just to be even-handed, prisoner escape, Kiwi style:
Funniest failed escape of New Zealand criminals - YouTube

The most fascinating thing about that clip was the weather. Did anyone notice that the temperature in the news ticker for Melbourne was 43C?? I am guessing that those guys had handcuffs on - I did not have the volume on.

Why are we leaving out our American and UK buddies? I have been watching 'Cops' for about 20 years.

yes, they escaped from a courthouse hand-cuffed together, and being idiots they tried to run past a powerpole with one man on either side of the pole. Instead of, you know, just avoiding the pole altogether!

Sir David Attenborough, 19th and 20th June.

Did the email say what CeBIT is? And is it really 32,000 (or 3200)?

:p

CeBIT Australia
"over 32,000 visitors from 40 countries" apparently...

I signed up in the last couple years and got early bird free tickets each time (probably only a $50 saving), but I have never attended because of the prohibitive travelling costs and lack of available accommodation.

Hix could probably rent his house out and make some decent cash!!
