The Nonsense Thread

I think the police would have something to say about that (probably not as bad as what my parents would say:p)

interesting story time (but only interesting to Zoochatters, so I have to tell it on here).

When I was waiting on the bus this evening I had an eighty-year-old man start talking to me, as they do. Turns out he was stationed in Singapore in the 1970s and thought the zoo and Jurong Bird Park were brilliant. And his daughter was at Jersey Zoo when the little kid fell in the gorilla enclosure. I don't often have zoo conversations with people on the bus.

Then another guy got on the bus and he was reading Stolen World. But I didn't talk to him because I don't know how I'd even start that conversation. I'm not eighty yet.

The end.

Ooh, I want to read Stolen World. It's been on my list for a while now...

It is a good book, I read it together with Reptile King and together they give an interesting sight in the reptile smuggling world. I must admit that after reading it I was dreaming about a big aquarium with pig-nosed turtles though.

Did anyone see the eclipse this morning?
It's supposed to be at its peak for Warsaw right now at 90% of the sun covered but it just looks like a cloud is covering the sun making everything slightly dark.

We could see it quite well here even if it was cloudy.

Turn Pharrell on, its world happiness day!

Turn on what?

I would have seen the eclipse except the sun was on the other side of the planet.

There are a couple within the next decade or so that I will be able to see, I am even toying with having a eclipse watching party.

I have seen some totally freaky lunar eclipses, for example the one back in '04 the night the Red Sox won the series.

It did not go dark at all in Stoke, despite 89% of the sun covered by the moon. A real let down.
