Newquay Zoo The Overlooked Zoo Gem of The UK

Where do I (a Midlander) fit in to the demographic? :p
I'm spoilt for choice regarding collections but Living Coasts took me two hours to get round once, Newquay can fill about three hours and Paignton is a full day job, even Shaldon can fill a couple of hours... ;)

The meercat enclosure was excellent best one I've seen
Apart from the cats my favourite was seeing the Philipine spotted deer stag we got great views of him hopefully good photos too

When did Newquay get Black-tailed Mongoose?,as these would have to be the only ones in Europe!
 
Either I missed something great in January, Newquay recieved some since then or (I suspect this is the correct answer) LCPete has gotten confused and means the cusimanse!

Sorry quite possible that I got the id wrong I definitely saw two types of mongoose yellow in the meercats and the other dark coloured ones :)
My memory for names is getting worse !
