The Plight of Vietnam's Karst Dwelling Species

Actually, it would be fairly easy for Govt. to implement a sustainable coservation cum development that leaves the karst intact and lets the net value increase. How many people employed in the 24 extracting companies .... it cannot be hundreds.

I would like to see a conservation plan put in place! Would that involve creating/establishing new protected area(s)? That sounds like it would be a necessary strategy.

I realize that this might be a slight digression, but this shines light on why I believe we need to abolish and outlaw traditional landfills and convert all landfills into recycling centers and composting facilities. I bring this up because it would make it so we don't have to keep continuing to deplete natural resources at this level, the Vietnamese karst ecosystem, case and point.
