The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot The Seas at EPCOT News

Good evening. I'm very new to this forum, and honestly signed up in hopes of finding someone who can provide information. I was recently at Epcot and saw a clearly stressed and very pale Blue Tang in the Mr. Ray' Lagoon tank at Turtle Talk with Crush. Stressed to the point that is was breaking the surface while repeatedly swimming back and forth along the back wall. Do anyone you know who I can reach out to about this poor fish?

Unfortunately there aren’t a whole lot of actual employees of the aquaria here, but it’s possible that you could reach out to the park staff either by phone or email (or physically if you have a pass again).
 
Recently, it was announced that their manatees (1.0) Lil Joe and (1.0) Inigo were relocated to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park (the same facility that took in Epcot’s dolphins) on January 14th; with the reasons behind the move being recommended by the U.S Fish & Wildlife Services and the Manatee Rehabilitation Partnership respectively.

Going forward, it appears that Disney will become committed to housing short-term residents, as opposed to manatees living long-term like in the past.

Very interesting so a similar situation to Cincinnati and Columbus Zoos (besides Stubby). Will new manatees be housed in the current enclosure or I heard some rumors that the former dolphin tank might be retrofitted for manatee?

On March 20th, the theme park announced they acquired a (0.1) Florida manatee named Mermaid to further rehabilitate before it is released back into the wild.
