The sifaka thread

It sounds like there were Diademed sifakas at the Duke lemur center in the past. Did anybody here get to see them?

I saw the Diademed Sifaka at DLC in 2006, but someone on this forum told me that it died a year or two ago.

Did they only have the one individual? It is a very pretty critter - thanks for sharing the photo with us.

I think they started with three but only one was still alive when I was there.
