6. Standing's day gecko: Not the most visually striking gecko as the colours are not as vibrant but this is another beautiful Malagasy day gecko in my opinion and also of conservation concern.
7. Rob Merten's day gecko : Yep, another day gecko (not Malagasy but from the Comorros). What can I say ? This one is an endangered species and I root for underdogs.
8. Tokay gecko: This is a bit of a love-hate thing for me, because I find the colours of the species beautiful but I've been bitten by these little monsters several times so I think they are beautiful but they are vicious little f***** too if that makes any sense?
9. Henckel's leaf tailed gecko: This gecko is beautiful in a gothic horror sort of way for me. It looks like some kind of sinister creature from "Pan's Labyrinth" and it is of conservation concern too, so yes, a beautiful and charismatic species for me.

I love the Rob Merten's day gecko! Its green head definitely clashes with its mostly brown body, but I think that's what makes it beautiful.6.
