On February 1st, the park officially announced its expansion, aptly titled The Wild Camping Resort. The site is 117 acres, less than a mile away from the zoo, and will contain a "high-end camping resort, water park, luxury animal encounter bungalows, miniature golf course, fishing pond, restaurants, and a wedding and events center". This will cost ~$10,000,000 and is expected to be completed by 2024.

On April 19th, the park announced that construction was supposed to begin in early spring but the head of the board in the town of Sullivan has forced delays added more costs to the project.

On November 8th, the zoo announced that they acquired (1.1) generic giraffes named Kemba and Kendi which will be on exhibit at The Wild Camping Resort & Event Center in New York.

On February 14th, the zoo announced that (1.1) African penguins hatched.

On February 22nd, the zoo announced that a (0.0.1) African crested porcupine was born.

On February 23rd, it was reported that the zoo is constructing several new exhibits, including a walk-through Maya temple area with giant anteaters and king vultures, an unspecified primate and parrot exhibit, a new exhibit for the facility's jaguars (with underwater viewing), and a renovated gator exhibit.

On June 24th, the zoo announced that the opened a new remodeled American alligator exhibit to the public.

On June 27th, the zoo announced that a (1.0) generic giraffe was born on June 24th.

Ugh. At least it's a bit nicer than the previous one, and doesn't have quite as many animals? It's still overstocked, though.
 
The new exhibit looks more like a golf course than an exhibit, especially with the obviously fake turf. The color of the water is also very off-putting.
