Would you be willing to pay $20 for the ticket?

Is this reflective of an actual zoo in yout area, or are you planning to make your own zoo, OR is this purely speculation? If it's the latter, wouldn't it belong to the Spec Zoo forum?

Also, it's 20 USD right?

This is my country's zoo under construction, and there are plans to showcase these animals.
I would like to hear the opinions of people who love going to the zoo. What do you think about the list of these animals? And if the ticket price for admission is $20, would you be willing to pay for the ticket or not?

This sounds like a phenomenal range of species. For comparison, Taronga Zoo (one of Australia’s best zoos) costs $50 and has a fraction of the large mammal species listed here. Australia Zoo costs $66 and has only 20 mammal species listed on their website (many of them various types of marsupial that are common in Australian zoos).

Like @Osedax says, the exhibits would have to be good quality, but I would pay up to $60 to visit this zoo; and up to $80 if they had Temminck’s golden cat (I’d love to see this felid again).

The list has some lovely things. If the exhibits were top quality and good for the animals and husbandry and care was good it looks like a fine place to visit. Tick on interesting!

Ticket price / value is a tricky one. In some countries 20USd is a weekly wage so I’d say it depends on where it is and what the comparable zoo ticket prices were.

In a U.K. zoo that would be pretty good value and some of the larger collections cost a great deal more than that to visit.

Whether I’d pay 20 usd is a bit moot in the general sense so I think it would be a case of assessing the value in comparison to other attractions and the income standard / disposable income averages in the country the zoo is in.

That list in a U.K. zoo with quality exhibitory 20USd would be the lower end of the average ticket price.

I would pay 20 usd - for those SE Asian specialties like proboscis monkey alone.

I don´t know how willingly would local Thai tourist pay that fee I guess that would depend on prices of competing entertainment options. But international tourists from affluent countries should have no problem with that ticket price (if enclosure quality is decent).

20 usd would mean high end in Czech zoos. The most expensive is a small aquarium Morsky Svet that charges 19 usd, the second most expensive is Prague zoo where day ticket ( after substantial recent hike ) is 13 usd. Other local zoos are between 6 and 12 usd to get in.

The value of a zoo is not entirely dependent on its species list, in my opinion. Granted, that's not to say the species list doesn't matter at all, and the perceived value of a zoo does depend on the size of a collection, but I view exhibit qualities, education, and conservation programs as much more important to zoos than what species they have.

The Asian vultures and primates make it worth it but as others said the exhibits should also be in good quality. I think, however, that the children's zoo could make use of sheep, cattle, and goats.

It's in Thailand. As a comparison, the Dusit Zoo (of which this is the "new version" so to speak) was 100 Baht for foreigners, which is under US$3. The Korat Zoo is currently 350 Baht for foreigners, which is about US$10.

So US$20 is well above any other zoo in the country. (Although from this thread I'm not clear on if US$20 is actually the predicted entry fee or if it has just been made up here).

Thank you for the comment. I would like to modify the question.
1.From the list of animals provided, what grade do you give A , B ,C , D , F
2.From the list of animals provided, which animal are you interested in 1 2 3 4 5
3.Animals in SEA that you would like the zoo to exhibit?

The lineup of Asian ungulates is very intriguing and makes the $20 well worth it. I'd be willing to go a lot higher than that. I would pay $20 to get into any zoo provided the exhibits were good.

‘Pheasant’?
I don't have any information , but I think it might be around this or less
Green peafowl , Indian Peafowl , Great Argus , Siamese Fireback , Golden Pheasant , Silver Pheasant , Lineated Kalij Pheasant , Crawfurd's Kalij Pheasant , Crested Fireback , Lewis' Silver Pheasant
