The Zoochat Photographic Guide to Birds - Index

Given the fact we now have a handful of official Zoochat Photographic Guides pertaining to bird groups, myself and the other moderators thought it would be a good idea to post an index for birds akin to the existing one for mammals.

Considering the recent spate in unsanctioned threads of lower quality - despite the fact that we've noted in the past that we would like people aiming to create a photographic guide to ask for permission (both to prevent multiple threads being created on the same topic, and as a means of preventing poor quality attempts) - this is also a good point to repeat that request :P when we have a chance, we will also create a short guide to the formatting, style and quality we aim for in these threads for the benefit of anyone who is deemed able to handle the task.

Could this thread be updated to reflect the current status of the guides?
It was updated three weeks ago. The only change since then is that I have just started the Suliformes thread today (Suliformes was originally going to be included with the Pelecaniformes but @Sarus Crane - who is doing the Pelecaniformes thread - felt that they didn't have the time to commit to both Orders and so we split it out).

This thread has now been updated to reflect the completion of the guides to the Suliformes and Rails et al respectively, and the fact a guide to the Psittaciformes has now been started.

For sure I can’t wait to see a section on the
bucerotiformes and I can’t wait to see that section because they include some of my favorite birds the hornbills and the ground hornbills.
