And with that, I have completed my coverage of prosimian taxonomy :) which will hopefully provide an incentive for more photographs - both of unrepresented taxa and those already found within the gallery - to be uploaded over the coming weeks and months.

Hence, as usual a list of the taxa remaining unrepresented in the gallery shall follow:

Southern Needle-clawed Bushbaby Euoticus elegantulus
Northern Needle-clawed Bushbaby Euoticus pallidus
Somali Bushbaby Galago gallarum
Dusky Bushbaby Galago matschiei
Angolan Dwarf Galago Galagoides kumbirensis
Zanzibar Bushbaby Galagoides zanzibaricus
Grant's Bushbaby Galagoides granti
Malawi Bushbaby Galagoides nyasae
Uluguru Bushbaby Galagoides orinus
Rondo Bushbaby Galagoides rondoensis
Thomas's Bushbaby Galagoides thomasi
Kenya Coast Galago Galagoides cocos
Silvery Greater Galago Otolemur monteiri
Bioko Allen's Bushbaby Sciurocheirus alleni
Cross River Bushbaby Sciurocheirus cameronensis
Gabon Bushbaby Sciurocheirus gabonensis
Makandé Squirrel Galago Sciurocheirus makandensis

Of these, I suspect the likeliest to be uploaded to the gallery will be the Silvery Greater Galago, which was held in a captive European collection most recently - although of course we wouldn't turn our noses up at anything else :p

However, I think we can probably assume that no one got a photograph of the Rongo Bushbaby which was held at ZSL London for a handful of weeks in the 1990's until it escaped, never to be seen again.....

There is a picture of a Galagoides orinus in the gallery under the name Mountain dwarf galago ;)

Just a note to say I have uploaded a photograph of Goodman's Mouse Lemur and attached it to the relevant point of this thread :)

Golden-crowned Sifaka (Propithecus tattersalli)

No zoochatters have posted photographs of this species to the gallery.

Unfortunately Cyclone Enawo wiped out the road or we would have had a couple of pictures in the gallery. This is on my shortlist for when I head back. Same for the Silky Sifaka. The closest I got was an alarm call and a rustling in the leaves.

There's always next time :) don't suppose you got any carnivore photographs whilst in Madagascar which could fill gaps in that thread?
