Would red fox work in a walkthrough?
Depending on the temperament of the foxes, and if you can control feeding like Jurek says it might work.Would red fox work in a walkthrough?
Can small bustards like Buff-crested bustard and White-bellied bustard be kept in walkthrough aviaries?
Some of these wouldn’t go in the walkthrough but I am uncertain about others (non walkthrough birds: rhinoceros hornbill, Javan green magpie, yellow crested cockatoo)
crested partridge, Java sparrow, black-faced spoonbill, Sumatran laughing thrush, purple naked lory, Javan green peafowl, Bali myna
would it work or would some have to be in seperate aviaries?
A purple naked lory should probably get dressed before being in a public aviary. Some of these wouldn’t go in the walkthrough but I am uncertain about others (non walkthrough birds: rhinoceros hornbill, Javan green magpie, yellow crested cockatoo)

My worry would be whether the squirrels might decide the reptiles and amphibians would make a good snack. I could be wrong, but that's a possible risk of this mix. This might be a little underwhelming but I call this one "The Woods"
A small walkthrough simulating a north american forest featuring animals found locally.
Small mammals like squirrels, various small birds and maybe even some amphibians and reptiles would fit.
I'd be more worried about the birds, actually. My worry would be whether the squirrels might decide the reptiles and amphibians would make a good snack. I could be wrong, but that's a possible risk of this mix.

No. Just no. A keeper I once knew was talking about the most painful bite they ever received, and it was a NARO biting straight through a steel-toe boot. NARO are up there with the species I'd least trust in a walk-through.Thoughts on if a walkthrough with North American River Otter would work? For a speculative exhibit complex on the temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest.
i dont remember if this was asked yet, can capys go in walkthroughs?
I recall Marwell had something in their planning for their 'upcoming' Water and Wetlands for a walkthrough capybara exhibit. The area was supposed to open in its new form circa 2020 ... the fate would turn out rather predictable in hindsight. It would seemingly be put on the backburner, and now Marwell doesn't have capybara anymore - with their exhibit now for red river hogs.I don't see any reason why Capybara's can't be in walkthroughs. Though I can't recall any Capy walkthroughs at the moment, I'm absolutely certain there are some
