Things That Irritate You in Life

As a college student I have to often work in groups with peers.
Last year I had a fellow student who did absolutely nothing for the project and in the end me and another fella had to essentially speedrun getting his work done in the end because he had given up on the study, he let us down big time here.

So now whenever I begin on a group assignment with peeps I tell them that I will never give up and never will let them down.

I hate when that happens and then they have the audacity to say that they did the work

He actually did that
He ran around telling he did it and deserted us out of it.
Honestly made me cry a bit inside

"Never gonna give you up" starts playing in my head. Also I hate it when people do that.

It is annoying when I'm trying to meet new people and whatnot, and when they find out I'm as old as them (sometimes older) and they just stare at me and say, "Wow, your'e short" It gets annoying because everyone basically the same thing. Some people even ask me if I know I'm short, like why would you ask someone that? A couple years ago when I was volunteering at an event, one person asked me if I was lost. I was 13 at the time.

One thing that really irritates me and upsets me is people and institutions that live in a bubble, especially when they are arrogant, closed-minded, stuck in their ways, and unwilling or un-interested in learning from their mistakes. As the famous quote goes, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

The quote is bogus, though

What do you mean, I quite agree with Einstein on this.

Einstein never said it. It's likely from an Al-Anon thing 25 years after Einstein died. It also has nothing to do with "insanity". There are plenty of things that require doing the same thing over and over.

Except Einstein never said it :p it was invented as a quip he personally rejected any connection to, not long before he died.

I believe that as TP alludes, Alcoholics Anonymous had a similar motto as early as the 1930s - decades before his death rather than after, but the point remains.
