Here is another thing that really gets to me.
When established rules or laws don't get enforced consistently. If a rule or law is not worth consistently enforcing, don't put it on the books.
Also when people in positions of authority just make up rules at whim without notifying us prior or running those rules past us. It is such a power trip and makes us feel like we are walking on eggshells. It is gaslighting and it is playing mind tricks. One of my biggest fears in life is being placed in situations where people in positions of authority are misusing or abusing their power. As non-sequiter as this may sound, that is a reason I have procrastinated job searches and stayed on prolonged unemployment benefits in the past. That is also why I couldn't finish out college and finally earn a degree and also why I didn't pass my behind the wheel driver's test until the third try. Though I know it is a part of life, I have this odd fear of getting evaluated. Being as wary as I am of authority has made me miss out on many aspects of life. There is a reason I believe in and support policies like Universal Basic Income and workplace democratization across the board.
