Things you get to see & do at the zoo that you would never in the 'real world'

I've never talked to any animals, and now i feel quite sane (which is suprising if you know me - urgh you can tell a person is just plain sad when they label themsleves as Mad). Anyway having a [licking] bath from a muntjac is good fun

There's nothing wrong with talking to the animals. It's when they start to talk back that you need to worry.

Get showered in mud thrown by your adopted chimp - and be happy about it - if it had been a human child I'd have wrung its neck!

:o Me and my partner made a video of the tigers at Whipsnade last week :o while singing 'the wonderful thing about Tigger' for my 10 week old grandson Noah last week

Would have been funnier if we had videoed the shocked family standing next to us :D Noah thinks its funny (he's to young to be embarrassed YET):p

Having a burrowing owl land on your head?

(I got picked from the audience for this at London's Animals in Action show yesterday. The claws do scratch a bit)
